And you’re right. The implications for Design Engineers and Gaming industry are huge. This actually started as a project called Play Anywhere. They say the immediate benefits are to those industries, mostly because it’s gonna be a bit expensive till they can break even and start selling it cheap. Plus it’s a V1 tech from MS. They usually hope the market will make itself, and they’ll cater to them after.

And Anu, dude, you need to really really think if you need a Mac at this point. It doesn’t do much of anything, as fasr as I am concerned.

Initial customers will be in the hospitality businesses, such as restaurants, hotels, retail, and public entertainment venues.
Not graphic designers, artists? Design Engineers? I thought they’d kill to have access to a machine like that. Gamers, publishers, etc.
