YES! Bloody hell, yes. These people, not that I have any precedent to trust them, are making Joss Whedon’s show into that holy grail of commercial gaming, the MMORPG. MMOs have always been attractive because of the living, breathing worlds they serve up, making the history of the universe actually matter. However, the ‘gameplay’, as it were has never been able to break free from the clutches of standard single player fare.
Of course, there are notable exceptions, and I just hope Firefly is one such world brimming with possibilities. I’m really excited about the fact that the world is finally getting its due, after the show got cancelled, and the movie did only okay-ish business.
A Firefly MMO? Shiny.

Yeah, Serenity part 2 and so on. Someone just give Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion a hojillion or so dollars.
